Interested in tracing your family history but don't know where to start? We can help.
Done some work already but need some help to further your research? We can do that too.
Been researching for some years in isolation? You can talk to others about the stories you've uncovered and share your experience with those who need help, and get help to try and knock down your remaining brick walls.
Our sessions are a mix of presentations on various aspects of research, working as a group to try and solve members problems, and one to one sessions where experienced members work with those who need it.
We have changed venue and now meet on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at SYSTON LIBRARY 10.15 - 12.15
The library has free versions of both Ancestry and Findmypast family history websites and free access to the British Newspaper Archive - along with a variety of free sites for family history research.
If you are not currently a library member it only takes a few minutes to join - you do need membership in order to use their computers. Joining is free.
